Terms & Conditions of Sale

  1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made from JCR Leeds Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), whether through our website [https://www.jcr-leeds.com], by telephone, or in person.
 1.2 By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

  1. Our Contract with You

2.1 Your order constitutes an offer to purchase Products from us. Orders are subject to acceptance.
 2.2 Once you place an order, you will receive an order acknowledgement email; this is not confirmation of acceptance.
 2.3 The contract between us is formed only when we send you a Dispatch Confirmation by email.
 2.4 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including, but not limited to, stock availability, pricing or description errors, payment issues, or suspicion of fraudulent activity.
 2.5 You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.

  1. Products and Descriptions

3.1 All images and descriptions on our website are for illustrative purposes only.
 3.2 Product packaging, colour, and appearance may vary from images shown.
 3.3 All performance and tuning parts should be installed and used in accordance with manufacturer instructions and applicable laws.

  1. Performance and Compliance Disclaimer

4.1 Certain performance parts supplied by JCR Leeds Ltd are designed for off-road or motorsport use only.
 4.2 It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any modifications comply with local emissions, noise, and road-use regulations.
 4.3 JCR Leeds Ltd will not be held liable for any failure to comply with road or environmental legislation following the installation of performance products.

  1. Ordering and Payment

5.1 Prices shown on our website include VAT unless otherwise stated.
 5.2 We make every effort to ensure prices are accurate. If an error occurs, we will contact you before proceeding with your order.
 5.3 We accept payment by the methods displayed on our website.
 5.4 Payment must be received in full before dispatch.
 5.5 We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice, but such changes will not affect existing confirmed orders.

  1. Delivery

6.1 Delivery costs are calculated and shown at checkout.
 6.2 Delivery dates are estimates only and not guaranteed.
 6.3 We are not liable for delays caused by courier services, weather, customs, or events beyond our control.
 6.4 Risk passes to you once the goods are delivered to your address.
 6.5 Ownership transfers to you only after full payment has been received.
 6.6 Upon delivery, you must inspect your goods immediately. Any damage or shortage must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.

  1. Returns and Cancellations

7.1 Right to Cancel (Consumers)

If you are a consumer, you may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
 To exercise this right, contact us in writing at info@jcr-leeds.com stating your order number and reason for return.

7.2 Conditions for Returns

  • Goods must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
  • You are responsible for return postage unless the goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied.
  • Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving returned goods, using the same payment method.
  • We reserve the right to deduct an amount if the goods show signs of handling beyond what is necessary to inspect them.

7.3 Returns After 14 Days

  • Returns requested after 14 days but within 28 days may be accepted at our discretion and may incur a handling or restocking fee of up to 20%.
  • No returns will be accepted after 28 days except for faulty or misdescribed goods.

7.4 Non-Returnable Items

  • Electrical components, ECU tuning devices, and software are non-returnable once unsealed or activated.
  • Special order or custom-made products are non-returnable and cannot be cancelled once manufacturing has commenced.
  1. Faulty or Incorrect Goods

8.1 We are under a legal duty to supply products that conform to the contract.
 8.2 If goods are faulty or incorrect, contact us within 14 days of discovery.
 8.3 Where applicable, manufacturer warranties apply. We may require the item to be inspected or tested before issuing a replacement or refund.
 8.4 We reserve the right to repair, replace, or refund at our discretion in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  1. Installation and Liability Disclaimer

9.1 All parts sold by JCR Leeds Ltd must be fitted by qualified professionals.
 9.2 We are not responsible for damage, injury, or loss resulting from incorrect installation or misuse.
 9.3 No warranty or guarantee is provided for parts installed or used improperly.

  1. Pricing Errors and Availability

10.1 In the event a product is incorrectly priced or unavailable, we will notify you as soon as possible.
 10.2 We reserve the right to cancel any order before dispatch if an error in pricing or stock is discovered.
 10.3 If an order is cancelled, you will receive a full refund.

  1. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations if the delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, fires, floods, adverse weather, accidents, or transportation delays.

  1. Limitation of Liability

12.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of statutory rights.
 12.2 Subject to clause 12.1, we are not liable for:
  a) indirect, consequential, or special losses;
  b) loss of profit, revenue, or business;
  c) damage resulting from misuse or improper installation of goods.
 12.3 Our total liability for any claim arising from a sale shall not exceed the total value of the order.

  1. Personal Data and Privacy

13.1 We process customer data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
 13.2 By placing an order, you consent to such processing and warrant that all data provided is accurate.

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

14.1 These Terms and any dispute arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
 14.2 You agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute.
